Description: This course is an introduction to the representation theory of associative algebras, also known as quiver representations. It will cover the following topics. Quivers and representations, projective representations, injective representations, Auslander-Reiten (AR) translation, AR quiver, knitting algorithm, combinatorial construction of the AR quiver, path algebras and their module categories, bound quiver algebras, AR theory, Gabriel’s theorem.
